Finding suitable planets

Enough of the planning and scheming. It's time to act! 

At first I didn't know where to start. I mean there are thousands upon thousands of planets. And if I can't get all the resources in the same system then what ?? Oh will I rly need to bother with all that logistics. Can I extract enough of a certain resource to fuel the processors? Ok now just don't give up. There have to be some solutions to my problems.

Why don't I just use planets that are on the same route. This makes it easier If I need resources from different systems. Then I can pick up materials at system A and go to system D and while I'm at it I can also pick up materials that are on the way (B and C). Ok so I open up the star map and set the destination to somewhere far away. In the map I click on the 1st system on the route (show info). I write down if the planets have any useful resources, If not I move to the next system. I was aiming for planets with 20%( of total availability ) of the common resources and 10% of the rare ones. The whole process took about 30 min. And I didn't even need to undock.

Two systems have all the planets/resources in the quantities that I will need. Now I only need to destroy the old CCs(Command Center) and rebuild on the new planets.
